Contract Overview
The OMNIBUS IV contracting vehicle is a continuation of the predecessor contracts and designed to enhance the related DoD medical R&D programs. OMNIBUS IV add value with R&D migrating into medical practice via translation science support and services.
OMNIBUS IV supports a broad based of DoD requirements for medical R&D and related activities. The contract vehicle provides an opportunity to procure services in the following market segments:

The OMNIBUS IV contract vehicle offers a 5 year performance period and a ceiling capacity of $10B over a 10-year ordering period (5-year base + 5-year option period). In June 2022, OMNIBUS IV was awarded under full and open competition with a base ordering period from 20 June 2022 through 19 June 2027, and Option 1 Ordering Period from 20 June 2027 through 19 June 2032.

Considering the ongoing evaluating of the recent E.O. “Eliminating Waste and Saving Taxpayer Dollars by Consolidating Procurement,” there’s a reflective delay in the pre-solicitation meeting and the release of the final draft RFP for Army MAPS.
