Everyone watching Army MAPS got a gut punch in early 2025 when the Army paused the entire acquisition. After nine months of uncertainty, the Army Contracting Command formally announced in December that MAPS is moving forward. The $50B vehicle is alive — and the final RFP is expected any day now.
As of March 2026, the Army released its fifth draft RFP with the final solicitation anticipated in late March or early April. That means if you're not already positioned, you're running out of runway.
